Please join us for the “kick-off” of ISPNO with a cocktail reception at the Marriott Downtown. Entry is included with ISPNO registration.


Wine Tasting with Sonia

Sunday, June 30th (6:30 PM – 8:00 PM)

Join Dr. Sonia Partap for a fun, interactive, and educational journey into oenology. Dr. Partap is a Stanford pediatric neuro-oncologist and holds a Diploma in Wines from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET). She will guide you through the geography, tasting, evaluating, and most importantly, enjoying wines of the world. No prior wine knowledge required; all oenophiles welcome. Small bites will be provided along with the wines and educational material.

Walking Tour of Historical Philadelphia 

Sunday, June 30th (6:30 PM – 7:45 PM)

Stroll the historic streets of Philadelphia and learn about the events of the American Revolution.  This guided walking tour will visit important sites including Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, the homes of George Washington and Betsy Ross, and Elfreth’s Alley, one of the  oldest continuously inhabited residential streets in the country.

When the tour ends you will be in the heart of “Old City” Philadelphia, which has numerous restaurants and bars to choose from.

Gala Dinner 

Monday, July 1st (7:00 PM – 11:00 PM)

Come celebrate ISPNO with dinner and dancing at the National Constitution Center (https://constitutioncenter.org)!

Space is limited to the first 400 registrants. $125 per ticket. Please register at https://www.ispno2024.com/reg. If you have already registered for ISPNO and would like to attend the gala, please email ISPNO2024@chop.edu.

Gala tickets will include entrance to the Exhibit Hall and to the multimedia production Freedom Rising. Highlights:

  • Signers’ Hall offers visitors the chance to walk alongside 42 life-size bronze statues of the Founding Fathers present at the Constitutional Convention.

  • The Story of We the People includes multimedia displays and a rotating collection of rare artifacts that celebrates the Constitution.

  • Freedom Rising brings the Constitution to life through 360-degree projection, state-of-the-art sound and lighting, and a dynamic live actor during this 17-minute multimedia theatrical experience.
